Texas Vacation

My husband and I are spending our spring break with my parents in Rio Hondo, TX, (near Brownsville).
Today we went to a nature preserve. I was trying to take a picture of some Texas frogs. Well one of the jump out of the pond at me. The next thing you know I hear a hissing sound and see an alligator coming after me. Apparently, I missed the sign that said there was an alligator in this pond.

MACUL conference

This past week I attend the MACUL computer conference in Detroit. I had to give a short presentation on the grant I received in 2009. The grant allowed me to get 3 small keyboards and a printer for our classroom.

Conferences-Report cards.

Thank you to everyone that attended conferences.
It was so nice to touch base with everyone.

I will be marking report cards March 18th.
The students have a 1/2 day that day.
I think report cards will be sent home the following Friday.

Holiday Party

Our holiday party will be a breakfast on Thursday, December 16th.
We will be enjoying pancakes, smokey links, milk and orange juice.
A note will be coming home soon asking for donations.
I will need parents to help cook the breakfast.
We will start cooking at 8 and be done by 9.
