MAP Testing

This week we start testing all the students in Reading and Math.
This will be done in the computer lab.
Second graders will test on Monday and Tuesday.
First graders will test Wednesday-Monday. The test is read to the first graders.

Math groups start Tuesday, September 14. Watch for information from your child.
Reading groups will start the following week.

First Day of School

Everyone survived the first day of school! Even the teacher!
I am very excited to work with these students and I am looking forward
to a great year.

Don't forget to send a healthy snack to school each day.
Also, have your child have tennis shoes to wear at school each day.

Open House

Open House is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 1st from 6:00-7:00. I hope to see you there.

My Vacation

My husband and I took a vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. What a great time! I loved walking along the beach looking for shells. I even found a live starfish.
