Kalamazoo Nature Center Field Trip

On Tuesday, November 12th all the first and second graders went on a field trip to the Kalamazoo Nature Center. We learned about Native Americans. We learned about their shelters, food and games. We really enjoyed this trip.

Owl Pellets

Our class recently dissected owl pellets. This was a fun adventure.
Do you know owls eat their food whole and that the bones and fur do
not digest? We found bones and skulls in our pellets. Be sure to ask your
child about this science lesson.
